Although it's called a novel, its plot is pretty thin and the characters don't have much depth. However, it makes the history of philosophy and major philosophical thought accessible to teenagers (and adults). It is a good book for those older gifted children who ask deep questions about the meaning of life.

      H is for Honor Yesterday I had the privilege of being a guest reader in a fourth grade classroom. This is a fun picture book to read, especially for intermediate students. You can read the book two ways. Each page has a short rhyme to introduce the word and give an explanation of its significance. But then, in the side bars, there is more.
